It's time already for Round 8 in my Beer Tasting 2022 project. This round is a short one because there's only 1 beer.

"One beer?" you might ask. "What's the point of one beer?"

The past few months I've continued working my way through my "drinking problem"- which as I've noted before is really a shopping problem. For years I bought more alcohol than I enjoyed drinking.

It's getting to be that time of year... which means bringing back an old favorite drink, the Cosmopolitan! Except I don't actually like a real Cosmo. On the whole this past weekend was a quiet, relaxing one. We didn't go anywhere (except on a few shopping errands in town) and we didn't see anyone. Last night I made a quick tally of the bottles in my wine collection. 69. With my "drinking problem" of not drinking wine as fast as I buy it- really it's a shopping problem- my collection has swelled past 100 bottles several times, with a high of around 120-125. I've written a number of times about " my drinking problem". As I've noted it's really more of a shopping problem: In the past I've tended to buy wine (and liquor) faster than I drink it, causing my shelves and cabinets to fill, and some of the wine to spoil before I get to it. So let's check in on how I'd doing with managing my shopping problem.
